Congressman Who LUNGED At Matt Gaetz Loses Committee Assignment

A Republican reportedly threatened the opponents of McCarthy during a closed-door meeting.

Rep. Mike Rogers reportedly threatened all of the anti-McCarthy Republicans, saying he would prevent them from getting on any committees.

It is noteworthy that Rogers had to be restrained after he reportedly lunged at Matt Gaetz.

After reaching deals with the opponents, McCarthy was able to become the new House speaker on Saturday night.

Today, Rogers announced that he would no longer serve on the powerful House Steering Committee.

Although Rogers may be doing this on his own initiative, it's obvious that he has to step down from the committee due to the threats and anger he displayed on the House floor.
