In a fascinating incident in Houston, another responsible gun owner proved the importance of one’s Second Amendment rights by defending himself against two would-be robbers. The incident occurred when the business owner was targeted by two criminals attempting to “jug” him, a term used to describe robbing individuals as they withdraw cash from a bank or ATM. These two juggers clearly picked the wrong target, as the business owner, who had just left the bank and arrived at his shop, quickly turned the tables on them.

The business owner was initially struck on the back of his head with an unknown object, which surely must have been quite a shock. However, instead of succumbing to the attack, he bravely fought back by using his firearm. He fired at the two masked, gloved men, instantly incapacitating them. Another employee inside the store, hearing the commotion, also joined the gunfight, ensuring the criminals met swift justice.
It is essential to note that violence and crime should never be encouraged. However, this incident highlights the importance of self-defense and the right to bear arms. As Assistant Chief Chandra Hatcher stated during a press conference, while violence should not be endorsed, citizens have the right to protect themselves. This is especially true in an unpredictable world where danger can strike at any moment, even during routine tasks such as withdrawing money from the bank.

Texas’ Constitutional Carry laws allow individuals to carry firearms without a license, empowering them to protect themselves and their loved ones.
