In a recent court ruling that has left President Trump’s opponents shaking in their boots, a Colorado judge, appointed by Democrat Gov. Jared Polis, declared that Trump did engage in the January 6th insurrection but wasn’t considered an officer of the United States under the Fourteenth Amendment. This ruling was seen as a huge win for President Trump, much to the chagrin of the left wing.

The plaintiffs in the case, who have been trying to use an obscure “Insurrection Clause” to keep Trump off the 2024 ballot, are now appealing the decision. They’ve been banging on about how Trump incited the insurrection, but the guy hasn’t even been charged with anything! Yet, here they are, still trying to snatch his chances away.
Of course, Trump’s team has fired back with their own appeal, claiming that the court made errors and that the plaintiffs are just playing dirty politics. They call it “lawfare,” and they’re not wrong. These sneaky shenanigans are just another attempt to derail Trump’s momentum and keep him out of the White House.
But guess what? Despite all the drama, Trump is still leading the pack in the Republican primary, and even climbing in the general election polls. The left just can’t seem to keep him down.
So, who are these plaintiffs trying to spoil all the fun? Well, one of them is Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a group tied to the infamous Democrat strategist David Brock. If you ask the conservatives, they’ll tell you that CREW has a bone to pick with anyone who doesn’t march to the beat of their liberal drum.
And let’s not forget about Media Matters for America (MMfA), another one of Brock’s pet projects. They’ve been making a stink by linking ad placements on social media to neo-Nazi content, and defending the likes of Jussie Smollett, even after it was clear he was spinning a tall tale!
Now, with the primary elections fast approaching, the clock is ticking for the courts to sort this mess out. But one thing’s for sure, the Democrats aren’t giving up that easily. They may have taken a step back in Colorado, but they’ll be back with more tricks up their sleeves.
