In a recent report by the far-left outlet Mother Jones, the Democrats’ relentless attacks on Republicans who stand against illegal immigration were exposed once again. While the left continues to label the GOP’s immigration reform proposals as “shockingly cruel,” they conveniently ignore the real suffering endured by immigrants at the border, often at the hands of cartels who prioritize profits over the well-being of vulnerable migrants, including children.

A prime example of this callousness was brought to light when Border Patrol agents in El Paso, Texas discovered 69 migrants hiding in the storm drain system. Upon responding to reports of illegal entry, the agents apprehended these individuals, signaling yet another instance of the dangerous and treacherous conditions migrants are subjected to by criminal organizations seeking to exploit their desperation.
The situation only escalated when agents were forced to enter the hazardous storm drains near Interstate 10, arresting 27 migrants despite the presence of toxic chlorine gas. This was just the beginning, as an additional 43 migrants were apprehended from a different section of the drains near Paisano Avenue, ultimately totaling 69 individuals from Guatemala, Mexico, Bolivia, Honduras, and El Salvador.
What the Democratic Party fails to acknowledge is that these migrants, including four unaccompanied minors, were subjected to life-threatening hazards and risks, such as exposure to toxic chemicals, the potential to get lost or drowned, and encounters with dangerous animals inhabiting the sewer-like environment. Instead of addressing the critical safety issues these migrants face, the left’s focus leans toward vilifying Republicans and advocating for more resources to process and grant citizenship to illegal immigrants.
The Biden administration’s priority appears to be centered on expediting the influx of illegal immigrants and fast-tracking them onto a path to citizenship, with little emphasis on preventing further perilous situations like the one in the El Paso storm drains. The administration’s ultimate goal seems to be securing a future voting bloc, rather than prioritizing the well-being and safety of both migrants and Border Patrol agents. As long as the government’s focus remains fixated on processing rather than preventing, incidents like these will continue to rise, perpetuating the chaos at the border.
The urgency of this situation cannot be overstated, especially with the pivotal 2024 election looming on the horizon. Every American must rally together to defend our beloved country and combat the deceit and corruption perpetuated by the leftist media and the political elite.
