Governors Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis have proven once again that they are true leaders when it comes to immigration. Despite being criticized and accused of playing political games, Abbott and DeSantis have emerged victorious in their mission to hold Democrats accountable for the immigration crisis.
In an unprecedented move, Abbott and DeSantis transported illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities such as New York and Washington, D.C. Many criticized their actions, claiming they were just “political stunts” that wouldn’t make a difference. Even some Republicans voiced their doubts.

But now the truth is clear – Abbott and DeSantis had a plan all along. Their goal was never to completely solve the border crisis but to force Democrats to confront the consequences of their own actions. And it’s working.
New York City, once seen as a sanctuary for illegal immigrants, is now feeling the weight of its own policies. Mayor Eric Adams, who once embraced the idea of open borders, is now calling for the border to be secured and demanding a national state of emergency. It’s ironic how quickly things can change when the problem hits close to home.
Unfortunately, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The federal government is struggling to cope with the influx of illegal immigrants, with border facilities overwhelmed and the Border Patrol understaffed. This is a disaster, and it’s time for the Biden administration to wake up and take action.
Of course, we must remember that illegal immigrants are human beings who deserve to be treated with dignity. They are simply responding to the open border policies of the current administration. But until our federal officials get serious about securing the border and cracking down on illegal crossings, the crisis will continue, and lives will be lost.
Abbott and DeSantis have shown us that they are willing to take bold action, even in the face of criticism. They have secured the last laugh on immigration, proving that their so-called “political stunts” were actually strategic moves to hold Democrats accountable. It’s time for the rest of the Republican party to follow their lead and fight for the security and sovereignty of our nation.
