The committee was able to access an FBI document that revealed that during the time of his time as US Vice President, Biden was paid a huge sum of money to get a prosecutor dismissed. The prosecutor was investigating a company called Burisma, which was owned by Hunter Biden.
As the investigation by House Republicans continues, the committee has focused its attention on Archer, who was instrumental in the Bidens' business deals in Russia, Ukraine, and China. Before he joined the Burisma board, Archer worked closely with Hunter Biden at an investment firm known as Rosemont Senaca Partners.
Archer was believed to have helped Hunter secure a position on the Burisma board while his father was in office. In one email, Hunter mentioned his upcoming trip to Ukraine, which occurred just a week before his father went there as the country's Vice President. In another email, Hunter discussed the upcoming election in Ukraine and provided a detailed analysis of what was happening in the country.
The allegations against the Bidens are clear: The family has a history of corruption. Archer's testimony will be crucial in helping the committee uncover the details of his crimes. Although he was convicted of fraud, his conviction was later overturned.
This month, Archer lost his appeal and is now awaiting sentencing. The committee is right to seek his testimony, and it's time for the Bidens to be held accountable for their wrongdoings.
