Dr Ben Carson Exposes Biden’s Role in Housing Crisis on Breitbart News Daily

Dr. Ben Carson has made an unmistakable observation about the ongoing housing crisis in America. During a recent discussion on Breitbart News Daily, he laid out the ugly truth: the Democrats, particularly under the stewardship of the Biden-Harris duo, have managed to make housing affordability akin to spotting Bigfoot—everyone talks about it, but few have ever seen it. Carson pointed to an influx of millions of people entering the country, thanks largely to the open borders policy, creating an intense demand for housing that has driven costs through the roof.

In an exchange with host Matthew Boyle, Carson explained the simple economics at play. When a large number of new residents arrive, they, too, need shelter, which further tightens the already limited housing market. Supply and demand, a fundamental economic principle, has taken a backseat in the Democrats’ strategy. Instead of building, they appear to be prioritizing bailouts and subsidies for those who don’t have their green cards. This, it seems, has pushed the average American family out of the housing market and into a world where living in a van down by the river starts to look like a viable option.

Inflation, of course, also came under Carson’s scrutiny. Having pumped trillions into an economy struggling for breath, the Biden administration has managed to create conditions ripe for skyrocketing prices. With energy costs spiking and transportation fees soaring, those costs trickle down to consumers, resulting in inflated prices for everything from groceries to gas—the essentials one needs before even considering purchasing a home. The current situation isn’t just a hiccup; it’s more akin to a full-blown economic belly flop into the shallow end.

But wait, there’s more; Carson similarly highlighted the mental health crisis facing America’s homeless population, a chunk of which do, unfortunately, battle addiction issues. Whereas the previous administration attempted to create solutions that acknowledged these realities, the current regime seems more interested in pushing a narrative that avoids the root causes of homelessness. This only reflects their broader failure to manage the housing sector in any meaningful way.

Echoing Carson’s sentiments, Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake added that the mass influx of illegal immigrants has compounded the housing crisis across the nation. She pointed out a crucial fact: as millions flood in, they also need places to live, putting additional pressure on an already tight market. Like a game of musical chairs, everyone is scrambling to find space while the music keeps playing, raising costs and leaving American families scrambling for any semblance of stability.

It’s clear that Democrats have contributed heavily to the turmoil—the very policies they champion have exacerbated these critical housing issues. If only they spent half as much energy on addressing the housing crisis as they do on championing open borders, the American dream of home ownership might not feel so much like a fairy tale destined for a storybook ending.
