The House Oversight Committee is finally starting to investigate the shady business dealings of Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden. This time, it is Hunter’s former business partner, Devon Archer, who is in the hot seat, as he is reportedly in talks to testify about his knowledge of an alleged bribery scheme involving Joe Biden and the Ukrainian gas giant, Burisma. According to an FBI source, it is alleged that Biden received $10 million in a quid pro quo arrangement to have Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired, as Shokin was investigating the company.

Breitbart News has reported that Archer is complying with the subpoena but is requesting a later deposition. Archer, a longtime business partner of Hunter Biden, has been knee-deep in investigations into the business dealings of the Biden family with foreign nationals for years, and in 2014, it is widely believed that he helped Hunter secure his position on the board of Burisma while his father served as Vice President.
In emails cited by the New York Post, Hunter Biden refers to “my guy’s upcoming travels” in reference to his father, Joe Biden. Also, an email from April 13, 2014, was unusually sophisticated, listing 22 points about Ukraine’s political situation and with detailed analysis of the upcoming election, anticipating an escalation of Russia’s “destabilization campaign.” Based on these emails, it seems that the Biden family may have been conspiring with a foreign entity to influence foreign policy for their own self-interest.
Archer himself is currently awaiting sentencing after being convicted of defrauding a Native American tribe in 2022. In 2019, Hunter Biden stood by his friend, stating that he was being persecuted simply for being a member of the Biden family. But the FBI source states that foreign national Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky recorded 17 conversations, including two with then-President Biden and 15 with Hunter Biden, which detailed the bribery scheme. Zlochevsky reportedly held onto the recordings as an “insurance policy,” as he feared the election of Donald Trump in 2016 would lead to an investigation into the Biden family’s dealings.
It is high time that these corrupt dealings of the Biden family were exposed and that Devon Archer comes clean about what he knows. It is only through exposing these kinds of shady dealings that we can put an end to the rampant corruption in politics. The Bidens must be held accountable for their actions and the true extent of their corruption brought to light.
