Fox News has flexed its muscles and forced country singer Jason Aldean to remove footage of Black Lives Matter (BLM) rioters from his music video for “Try That in a Small Town.” According to TMZ, Aldean’s production company reached out to Fox for permission to use a few seconds of archival footage showing BLM protesters engaging in violent behavior. Fox asked for more information, specifically the lyrics of the song, but was only sent a link to the song instead. A week ago, Fox reached out again and requested that the footage be edited out to avoid legal action, and the production company complied.
The outrage around @Jason_Aldean "Try That in a Small Town" is the latest round fired in the “woke” war against freedom. Their attacks reveal the Democrat elite’s true values – violent looters during BLM protests can run free, but a song about respecting the flag & taking care…

This is a victory for Fox News and conservatives who have been critical of the Black Lives Matter movement, especially given the recent spike in crime in major cities. Leftists and corporate journalists have been trying to silence the song and censor the video because it dares to depict the violent and deadly BLM riots of 2020. It’s no surprise that CMT, which is owned by leftist activists at Paramount, pulled the video in response to pressure from the woke mob.
But Aldean is refusing to bow down to the PC police. In fact, he recently performed the song to a crowd of patriotic Americans who chanted “USA!” in response. It’s refreshing to see an artist stand up against the cancel culture and celebrate the values that make this country great.
Kudos to Fox News for standing up for the truth and holding Aldean accountable for including such divisive footage in his music video. It’s about time someone put their foot down and refused to give in to the leftist narrative. Let’s hope more artists follow in Aldean’s footsteps and dare to challenge the woke mob that is trying to dictate what can and can’t be said or shown. America deserves artists who are willing to speak their minds and stand up for what they believe in, regardless of the consequences.
