Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) had a bit of a scare during a press conference, but don’t worry folks, he’s “fine.” Although some people were quick to jump to conclusions about his health, calling it a “stroke,” let’s not forget that McConnell is just one tough cookie. Even at 81 years old, he’s still kicking and leading the charge against the liberal agenda.

But let’s talk about age, shall we? McConnell and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) might be on the older side, but that doesn’t mean they can’t get the job done. They’ve been in Congress longer than some of these young whippersnappers have been alive! Sure, Feinstein had some complications from shingles and some memory concerns, but that’s just part of the game when you’ve been serving the American people for decades.
Why is our country being led by unhealthy, obviously brain-damaged people like Biden, McConnell, and Fetterman? In a country of 330 million, this is our leadership class? What an embarrassment. https://t.co/EvH6U5NIGv

We have talked about term limits in Washington DC, now it’s time to add age limits to it. I’ve seen enough.
The excuses are over.

This man, like many other octogenarians in government, is simply not in the physical and mental condition necessary to perform the job. We need term limits and age limits. pic.twitter.com/DA1ldLyKWk

When can we have the conversation about term limits? I hope that @LeaderMcConnell is OK, but seriously he should not be leading government after 40 years of being politician.
If @JoeBiden, Mitch and @SpeakerPelosi taught us anything, it’s term limits. pic.twitter.com/MIayrEzSD4

Mitch McConnell: has brain freeze for 5 seconds, answers questions immediately
John Fetterman: lies about stroke, can't speak
Joe Biden: can't walk up stairs, obvious mental decline
Guess which one journos care about–why is that?

The media realizing that questioning Sen. McConnell's mental health forces them to notice Biden & Fetterman. pic.twitter.com/6ugiXVQ7Lc

Incredible to see the same media that excused and continues to excuse John Fetterman’s ailments try to latch onto this McConnell thing.
Sorry guys, you once again made new rules. https://t.co/TyS9kzker7

The average age of members of Congress is now 58 years old — one year younger than last Congress, which was the oldest in recent history. https://t.co/vQLtF8Scnn pic.twitter.com/rvvZ16ZsVB

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the elected officials will never enact term limits on their own. They’re not giving up their cash cows. Therefore, it’s up to us. Either we start demanding more from our elected officials and start holding their feet to the fire, or we…

Now, let’s take a moment to talk about Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA). This guy had a stroke, and yet he still managed to win his primary and beat Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz in the general election. Talk about determination! Sure, he might have some lingering health issues and mental health struggles, but hey, at least he’s not tripping up staircases like Joe Biden or struggling to string sentences together. Yet, you don’t hear the mainstream media asking questions about their fitness to serve.
It’s not just the older folks causing a fuss. The average age of Congress is 58, with more than half of senators being 65 or older. And let’s not forget that the 118th Congress is the third oldest since 1789. Maybe it’s time to bring in some fresh blood and new ideas, but it seems like Congress is stuck in a boomer time warp. Nearly half of its members belong to the boomer generation, even though they only make up 21.2 percent of the population.
But here’s the real kicker, folks. Congress has some of the lowest approval ratings, and yet these older members seem perfectly content to stay put. Maybe it’s time for some term limits to shake things up and bring in some new faces. But guess what? If we want term limits, it’s up to us, the American people, to make it happen. So let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work!
In conclusion, McConnell’s health scare was just a blip on the radar. Age is just a number, and these experienced senators have a lot to offer. But maybe it’s time for Congress to embrace change and bring in some fresh perspectives. Let’s not wait around for them to retire, let’s demand term limits and take control of our government. It’s time for a shake-up, folks, and we’re the ones who have to make it happen. God bless America!
