House Republicans are shaking things up with a bold proposal to rename a major U.S. airport after the one and only President Donald J. Trump. Can you imagine flying into the prestigious “Donald J. Trump International Airport”? It has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
The bill, spearheaded by Pennsylvania’s Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, has some fellow Republican heavyweights backing it up, including Reps. Michael Waltz, Andy Ogles, and Chuck Fleischmann, to name a few. They see this renaming as a way to honor the greatness they believe President Trump brought to America during his time in office.

Now, the left might squirm like a bug in hot sauce at the thought of such a tribute to Trump, but come on, folks! Let’s give credit where credit is due. President Trump fought for Americans and made our country stronger. Renaming the Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia after him would be a fitting recognition of his leadership.
Of course, as expected, the Democratic-controlled Senate will probably toss this bill into the “no way” bin faster than a hot potato. They just can’t handle the idea of honoring someone from the other side of the aisle, even if he’s a former president.
It’s not like naming airports after presidents is a new thing, folks. We’ve got the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, the John F. Kennedy International Airport, and even the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. So, why not have a Donald J. Trump International Airport, right alongside them?
At the end of the day, renaming Dulles International Airport would be a sweet gesture to give President Trump his due credit for leading the country to prosperity and fighting for the American people. Let’s make airports great again!
