Harris’ Dreadful Approval Tanks Biden’s Reelection Hopes

Vice President Kamala Harris is struggling with her approval rating, and it has become so low that it is now affecting President Joe Biden’s chances of winning re-election in 2024. In a recent survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports, likely voters were asked if Harris is doing a better or worse job than most previous vice presidents. The results were not in her favor, with 50% of respondents saying she is worse than most previous vice presidents. Only 22% said she is better, and 24% saw no difference.

These poor numbers demonstrate why some Democrats and liberal media outlets are urging Biden to replace Harris on his re-election ticket. Even more troubling for Harris is the fact that voters see her impact as more unfavourable than good by a margin of 33% to 22%. In addition, 41% of respondents thought Harris had no noticeable influence at all. It is clear that Harris is seen as a liability and a drag on Biden’s chances of winning another term.

There have been suggestions from political columnists and pollsters that Biden should replace Harris before the next election. One suggestion is for Senator Dianne Feinstein to resign from the Senate and for Harris to take her seat. This would allow Biden to choose a different, more popular running mate. However, despite these suggestions, Biden has no plans to replace Harris. In fact, he recently stated one of his better choices was choosing Harris to be his running companion, and she continues to be the ideal choice.

Harris’s favorability ratings are also suffering, with 42% holding a favorable opinion of her and 53% viewing her unfavorably. Her approval rating is even worse than former Vice President Dick Cheney’s approval rating after he accidentally shot a man in the face with a shotgun. A recent poll found that nearly half of all voters view Harris negatively, with only 32% approving of her performance in office.

It is clear that most voters have a low opinion of Vice President Kamala Harris and do not see her as a helpful running mate for President Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign. Her approval ratings are worse than those of Vice President Dick Cheney, who faced multiple controversies during his time in office. Despite presiding over a peacetime country with a strong economy, Harris is struggling to garner support and is becoming a liability for Biden’s chances of winning re-election.
