According to a representative of the House Oversight Committee, the committee has been contacted by lawyers representing Hunter and James Biden, and they are currently in dialogue with them. The committee has also been in touch with Eric Schwerin’s legal counsel, and they anticipate that he will commence providing documents to the committee in the near future.
Despite the White House’s insistence that President Joe Biden was unaware of his son’s business activities, several reports based on emails obtained from Hunter Biden’s laptop appear to contradict this claim.
