The Hunter Biden scandal continues to haunt the Democrats, much to the delight of conservatives. The failed plea deal was just the beginning of the unraveling of this story. Two brave whistleblowers, IRS agents Joseph Ziegler and Gary Shapley, exposed the Department of Justice’s meddling in the investigation into Hunter Biden. Despite the Democrats’ attempts to undermine these whistleblowers, their allegations ultimately led to the demise of the plea deal. As a result, Hunter Biden will now face trial on the charges brought against him.
It’s clear that the Justice Department, under the leadership of US Attorney David Weiss, played a dubious role in this ordeal. Weiss recommended allowing the statute of limitations for the more serious charges against Hunter Biden to expire, thus sparing him from those allegations. This decision raises suspicions among conservatives that Weiss has been working to protect the Bidens rather than pursue justice.
The appointment of Weiss as a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden only adds to the skepticism surrounding this case. Many conservatives believe that this move is a mere attempt to obstruct the House Oversight Committee from interviewing Hunter Biden. It’s evident that half of the country views this investigation as a whitewash, with the perception that President Biden is getting away with his son’s crimes.
The revelation that Hunter Biden’s legal team threatened to put Joe Biden on the stand if the DOJ didn’t find a way to let Hunter off the hook further undermines the Democrats’ credibility. It seems that they are willing to do anything to protect the president and his family, even if it means compromising the integrity of the justice system.

The appointment of Weiss as a special counsel, despite the regulations stating that an outside person should be chosen, only adds to the skepticism surrounding this case. The decision to let the statute of limitations run out on major crimes related to Hunter Biden’s financial dealings also raises eyebrows. It’s no wonder that almost half of Americans lack trust in the Justice Department to handle this investigation in a fair and nonpartisan manner.
The Democrats are finding themselves in a theater of the absurd. The Hunter Biden scandal is no longer a laughing matter for them. It’s becoming increasingly evident that there are serious questions about the integrity and fairness of this investigation. The American people deserve answers and transparency, and it’s about time the Democrats stop trying to brush this scandal under the rug.
