Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has once again found himself at the center of controversy after leaked text messages revealed racist comments towards people of Asian background. In a 2019 text message, Hunter is reported to have made a disturbingly racist remark about someone he could set up on a date with his niece’s friend. “Domesticated foreigner is fine. No yellow,” Hunter reportedly said.

This slur has caused particular distress given the recent surge in racist attacks against Asian-Americans. It is shocking that Hunter, someone who is privileged and educated, would use such hateful language. But sadly, this isn’t the first time that Hunter has shown himself to be racially insensitive. In fact, as recently reported by Outkick’s Clay Travis, Hunter has used the n-word several times in text conversations with his attorney.
As Clay pointed out, the mainstream media has been silent on this scandal, failing to hold Hunter accountable in the way they would if he were not the son of the President. It seems that there is a different set of rules for the Biden family.
As if this weren’t enough, Hunter is also under investigation for his international business connections, with as many as nine Biden family members now named in the Oversight Committee investigation led by GOP Rep. James Comer. These new revelations about Hunter’s use of racist language certainly do nothing to alleviate concerns about his questionable practices.
The investigation into Hunter’s business dealings is of particular importance given his connections to China. It is clear that Hunter has not been shy about his willingness to use his family’s political influence to further his own financial gain. As more information is released from Hunter’s infamous “laptop from hell,” it is likely that we will see even more evidence of wrongdoing.
The fact that Hunter would use such racist language is not only deeply concerning, but also speaks to a larger cultural problem on the left. It seems that they are quick to label anyone who disagrees with them as racist, while conveniently ignoring the actual racist behavior of their own. It is time for the Biden family and their allies in the media to be held accountable for their actions.
