When will the world wake up and finally acknowledge the undeniable threat of radical Islamic terrorism? India has taken a stand against these violent extremist actions with decisive airstrikes in Pakistani territory. The Indian air force’s brave actions follow a heinous attack in the disputed Kashmir region, where Pakistani militants unleashed terror, killing innocent lives. Yet, instead of reflecting on their own culpability, Pakistan shamelessly vows retaliation.
Pakistan’s knee-jerk reaction of playing the victim card is hardly surprising. Pakistan should be held accountable for harboring and enabling the very extremists that instigate this violence. How many more radical attacks will it take for the world to see shades of the truth? India’s response was a calculated act to protect its sovereignty and its citizens, not an unwarranted show of force.
The globalists and liberal voices who cry for diplomacy without teeth are predictably quick to point fingers at India. They would prefer to turn a blind eye to Pakistan’s duplicity and continue the charade. They lament the escalation of tensions while conveniently ignoring who lights the matches. Calls for de-escalation are all fine, but not at the cost of appeasing terrorism.

Pakistan, on the other hand, talks about self-defense but forgets it started this narrative by nurturing terror on its soil. If they want peace, let them denounce and dismantle terror networks rather than defend them. Spineless justifications only fan the flames of conflict. India has made it clear: if pushed further, retaliation will be devastating. Nobody should underestimate their resolve.
In moments like these, the world is watching. Will it support a nation defending itself against terrorism, or will it fall back on the old, disastrous pattern of appeasement? These are the choices that define global security. The absurdity of the situation begs the question: When will Pakistan learn that playing with fire only leads to getting burned?
