The Jewish Democratic Council of America has made big waves by sticking it to the left-leaning “Squad” and throwing its support behind two Democratic candidates who are not afraid to stand up for Israel. For the first time ever, the organization is saying “adios” to sitting Democratic incumbents and endorsing George Latimer and Wesley Bell. These two brave souls are taking on Rep. Jamaal Bowman and Rep. Cori Bush, both of whom have a big problem with Israel.

Bowman and Bush have been all critical of Israel and its military actions, accusing the country of doing some pretty nasty stuff. And, not only that, but they’ve even opposed a resolution to keep Hamas members and attackers out of the good ol’ U.S. of A. As if that wasn’t enough, video evidence has surfaced of Bowman calling the horrible acts against Israeli women and children a “lie”. But wait, there’s more! Bush has also condemned Israel’s response to attacks and hasn’t been shy about it.
But fear not, because the Jewish Democratic Council of America has had enough and is fighting back with its support for Latimer and Bell. And they’ve got some powerful backup. Latimer has been endorsed by the pro-Israel powerhouse, AIPAC, and the council’s chair-elect, Susie Stern, is singing his praises, calling him a much-needed ally to the Jewish members of the district. In addition to that, the council’s communications director, Sam Crystal, is determined to rock the vote and make sure Jewish Americans are heard loud and clear.
The battle is on, folks! With the primary elections coming up, these Democratic candidates are ready to take on Bowman and Bush. It’s a David vs. Goliath kind of fight, but the Jewish Democratic Council of America is ready for the challenge. And with the pro-Israel support behind them and a strong stance against the Squad’s anti-Israel views, Latimer and Bell are standing tall and ready to defend the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. Let the games begin!
