President Trump’s team isn’t backing down from the America First playbook. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt ripped into the media for “missing the art of the deal” after President Trump paused parts of his tariff plan. She slammed reporters for pushing “fake panic” instead of celebrating American strength.
Leavitt defended the pause on reciprocal tariffs for electronics like phones and computers, calling it “smart negotiating.” She said Trump’s move protects everyday Americans from price hikes while forcing China to the table. “Real leaders know when to squeeze and when to deal,” she told reporters.
The media falsely claimed the pause was a “retreat.” Leavitt shot back: “They clearly missed the art of the deal.” She praised Trump’s “steel spine” and reminded critics that China’s economy is crumbling under his tariffs. “Weak leaders cave. Patriots negotiate from strength,” she said.
Leavitt exposed how the “lying press” ignored Trump’s wins, like Apple and Nvidia moving factories to America. She called the tariff pause a “trap” for China, forcing them to choose between total collapse or fair deals. “President Trump doesn’t lose. He reloads,” she said.
While elites whine, real Americans see the strategy. Leavitt highlighted booming U.S. manufacturing jobs and $2 billion daily tariff revenue funding tax cuts. “Blue-collar workers get it. Coastal reporters don’t,” she said, mocking media “obsession” with pronouns instead of patriotism.
China’s 125% tariffs backfired, Leavitt argued, proving Trump’s toughness works. She warned that Beijing’s economy is “on life support” while America thrives. “President Trump gave them a way out. Now they’ll beg for mercy,” she said.
Democrats and RINOs attacked the pause, but Leavitt called them “China’s lobbyists.” She vowed Trump would never sell out like past leaders. “Weakness got us pillaged. Strength gets us paid,” she said, promising more tariffs if China keeps cheating.
The America First train isn’t stopping. Leavitt promised bigger tax cuts, more factories, and total independence from China. “President Trump doesn’t care about headlines. He cares about headlines of HISTORY,” she said. Patriots know the truth: Trump’s deals always win.
