It’s official, folks! Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) has finally put an end to the speculation and announced that he will not be running for president on a third-party ticket. Oh, what a relief! The last thing this country needs is another far-left Democrat throwing their hat into the ring.

Now, let’s not kid ourselves here. If Manchin had decided to run as a third-party candidate, he would have undoubtedly stolen votes away from President Biden (or whoever the poor soul is that the Democrats nominate). And let’s be honest, with the Democrats’ track record lately, they don’t need any more help losing elections.
Manchin has been flirting with the idea of a third-party run for a while now, even considering joining the “No Labels” organization or running as an independent “fusion” candidate. But thank goodness he’s come to his senses and realized that the American people don’t want more of the same radical, socialist policies that the Democrats have been peddling.
Just think back to history for a moment. Every time a third-party candidate has come onto the scene, it’s only caused chaos and confusion. Remember Theodore Roosevelt in 1912? Strom Thurmond in 1948? George Wallace in 1968? Ross Perot in the 90s? None of them are exactly shining examples of electoral success.
And let’s not forget about those so-called “third parties” like the Libertarian Party and the Green Party. They’ve been trying to gain traction for years, but so far, they haven’t even won a single Electoral College vote. Can you say, “irrelevant”?
So, thank you, Senator Manchin, for sparing us from yet another disastrous third-party candidacy. We don’t need more division and uncertainty in this country. We need strong, conservative leadership to bring us back on track. And with Manchin out of the picture, maybe, just maybe, there’s hope for that.
I don’t know about you, but I’m breathing a little easier now that Manchin won’t be cluttering up the presidential campaign. Let’s leave the liberal fantasies behind and focus on supporting a candidate who actually stands for traditional conservative values. It’s time to make America great again!
