In his interview with Eyewitness News, Adams mentioned that the city’s economic performance was better than expected in 2023. So, naturally, he decided that cutting funding to migrants was the way to go. It’s just common sense, people! Adams is all about managing the crisis and watching how the city spends its money. And honestly, who can blame him? New York City is not a charity for migrants coming in from all over the place.
Adams made it clear that while the city is still in crisis mode, they are transitioning to a more stable state. And guess what? That means renegotiating contracts and long-term planning. It’s called being fiscally responsible, something the Democrats could stand to learn a thing or two about! And to top it off, Adams is launching a pilot program to give prepaid credit cards to migrants. Seriously, where does this money come from? It’s mind-blowing that hard-working Americans are being shafted while migrants are getting a free ride.
Critics are up in arms over this $53 million pilot program for migrants. People like Stephen A. Smith and even 50 Cent are calling out Mayor Adams for prioritizing migrants over legal residents. It’s time for Adams to wake up and smell the coffee. New York City should be putting its own citizens first, not wasting money on people who are just passing through. Maybe 50 Cent is right – maybe we need someone like Trump to come in and clean up this mess!
