Oh boy, folks, hold on to your hats because we’ve got some spicy news coming your way! Former President Barack Obama, yes, you heard it right, the man himself, canceled a trip to Harvard because he was feeling under the weather with some COVID-like symptoms. Looks like even ex-presidents aren’t immune to the pesky virus that has been wreaking havoc on our lives.
Former President Barack Obama was scheduled to visit Harvard Wednesday, but the trip was scrapped after he came down with "COVID-like symptoms," the university said.

According to a statement, Obama was all set to grace the stage at Harvard’s “Future of the Internet Summit” at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. But alas, fate had other plans. The former president woke up feeling a bit off, and out of an abundance of caution, he decided to skip his public events for the day. Can’t blame the guy, after all, even a sniffle can send the liberals into a panic.

Now, this was quite the event for Obama. It would have marked his first appearance at Harvard since his time in the White House, and to make matters worse, the students were all geared up for his grand entrance. They even went as far as staging a “die-in” protest outside the business school. Imagine that, kids pretending to be dead just because their beloved Barry couldn’t make it. Talk about an overreaction!
But wait, it gets even better. These protesters were chanting some real gems like “Barry, Barry you can’t hide, we charge you with genocide,” and “Free, free Palestine.” Can someone please explain to me what exactly any of this has to do with Obama having a little cold? These students are just looking for any excuse to stir up trouble and push their radical agendas.
Let’s not forget that Obama left his senior technology advisor, Jason Goldman, to take the heat for him at the event. Poor Jason, I hope he had a good speech prepared because he had some big shoes to fill. But honestly, can’t Obama tough it out like the rest of us? I guess once you’ve been in charge of the free world, you feel entitled to a sick day or two.
Now, I don’t want to sound too heartless here, but come on, folks. We’ve all dealt with the consequences of COVID-19, and it’s about time these liberal elites realize they’re not exempt from it either. Maybe this whole situation will give Obama some perspective on the real struggles that everyday Americans face. Or maybe he’ll just use it as an excuse to push his agenda even further. Only time will tell. Stay healthy, everyone, and let’s hope our leaders start leading by example instead of hiding behind their symptoms.
