Oh boy, buckle up folks, because it seems like the leftists are at it again! Townhall has recently reported that pro-abortion supporters in Ohio are trying to pass a radical amendment to the state’s constitution. And let me tell you, it’s a doozy.
These pro-abortion fanatics aren’t just satisfied with keeping abortion legal up to 21 weeks and six days, oh no! They want to enshrine abortion access in the state forever and ever, without any pesky restrictions. And get this, folks, they even want to allow minors to have abortions without their parents knowing about it. Can you believe it?

But here’s the kicker, as our friend Spencer pointed out, this proposed amendment goes even further than that. It not only allows unrestricted access to abortion, but it also throws in sex-change surgeries for good measure. I mean, are they serious? Ohioans are going to be paying for gender reassignment surgeries too? It’s like they want to turn the whole state into a liberal utopia.
Now, the Ohio Secretary of State hasn’t decided yet if this amendment will make it to the ballot. Thank goodness for small miracles. But hold onto your hats, because a recent poll shows that there are a lot of misguided Ohio voters who actually support this outrageous amendment. According to the poll, a whopping 57.6 percent of likely Ohio voters are in favor of it. I’m sorry, but what happened to common sense?
If we break it down by political party, the numbers are even more infuriating. Of course, about 81 percent of Democrats are behind this disastrous amendment, because that’s what they do, folks. They support anything that demolishes traditional values and undermines the sanctity of life. Meanwhile, only 32 percent of Republicans have lost their ever-loving minds. Come on, conservatives, we need to step it up and fight against this madness!
And don’t even get me started on the age and gender breakdown of the poll. Apparently, younger voters are more likely to support this amendment, with 69 percent of those aged 18 to 34 backing it. I don’t know what they’re teaching in schools these days, but it certainly isn’t about the value of human life. And to make matters worse, 64 percent of women surveyed actually support this measure. Ladies, let’s stick together and protect our babies!
Thankfully, there are some sane voices amidst the chaos. The American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG) has spoken out against this radical amendment. They understand that it would allow abortions at full-term, when babies can feel pain and survive outside the womb. And let’s not forget that it also endangers the safety of women seeking abortions by eliminating health and safety protections. Angela Martin, an OB/GYN near Cincinnati, said it best, “This amendment is not the way to support real, quality care for Ohio women and children.”
It’s high time that we Republicans in Ohio take a stand against this madness. We need to protect the lives of the unborn and stop these liberal extremists from turning our state into a haven for unrestricted abortions and gender surgeries. Let’s not be swayed by these poll numbers, folks. We know what’s right, and it’s time to fight for it.
