In a shocking turn of events, the Oil and Gas Workers Association has given a big thumbs up to former President Donald Trump, leaving poor Ron DeSantis feeling like the kid picked last for dodgeball. The union, which represents the hardworking folks in the fossil fuel industry, made it clear that they’re backing Trump in the GOP primary and the general election against the anti-energy President Joe Biden.
According to the union’s president, Matt Coday, Trump has been nothing short of a superhero for the oil and gas workers. He claims that Trump was the most “pro-American Oil & Gas Workers president ever,” supporting an impressive 11.3 million jobs in 2019. Coday goes on to praise Trump for making America energy dominant and creating a booming economy that benefited all Americans. Take that, Biden!
But it doesn’t stop there. Coday accuses Biden of having a hidden agenda to destroy their precious oil and gas jobs. He argues that Biden’s actions are hurting the economy and even threatening national security. Yikes, looks like Sleepy Joe has some explaining to do!
Coday didn’t hold back when comparing Trump’s solid track record with DeSantis’ empty rhetoric. Apparently, DeSantis talks a big game but hasn’t delivered when it comes to supporting the oil and gas industry. Ouch, that’s gotta sting for poor DeSantis.

The drama between DeSantis and Trump escalated when DeSantis vowed to bring gas prices down to $2 per gallon by 2025. Trump, not one to back down, accused DeSantis of trying to end incentives for the oil and gas industry during his time in Congress. It seems like these two are in a heated oil feud!
And just when you thought things couldn’t get any juicier, Trump is now setting his sights on wooing the United Auto Workers union in Michigan. Despite being labeled as anti-worker by union bosses, Trump has somehow managed to outmaneuver President Biden on the issue. Biden has yet to visit with the UAW, and Democrats are starting to sweat. Looks like Trump’s playing union politics like a pro.

With Trump’s proven record and Biden’s questionable motives, it’s clear that the oil and gas industry is putting their faith in the right leader.
