Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) has come out in defense of Joe Biden, claiming that age is “relative” and referring to him as just a kid. Well, let’s see, Biden is three years younger than Pelosi, so if he’s a kid, what does that make her? Ancient history?

Now, I’m all for giving credit where credit is due, but let’s be honest here. Biden’s age is not the only thing concerning Americans. Have you seen his incoherent mumblings and gaffes? It’s like watching a late-night comedy show, except this is supposed to be the leader of the free world.
During a meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Biden seemed to lose focus, mumble incoherently, and even forgot what he was saying. It was like watching a prayer session mixed with a nap for Sleepy Joe. Is this really the best we can do?
And it’s not just Republicans who are concerned. Even Biden’s fellow Democrats are having second thoughts. Two-thirds of them expressed a desire for someone else to be at the top of the presidential ticket. Ouch. Looks like the shiny facade is starting to crack, even amongst his own party.
But of course, Pelosi won’t let facts get in the way of her praise for Biden. She claims he respects other points of view and has a vision consistent with our Founding Fathers. Really, Nancy? Because all I see is a president who caves to progressive demands and pushes the far-left agenda.
And let’s not forget about Biden’s strategic decision-making. I mean, who wouldn’t want a president who can’t even remember what he’s talking about half the time? That’s definitely a recipe for success, right?
But perhaps the most laughable claim from Pelosi is that Biden is the most empathetic and unifying person we could have. Really? Have you seen the divisions in this country? Biden’s presidency has done nothing but exacerbate the polarization and push Americans further apart.
So, while Pelosi may want to brush off Biden’s age as a relative matter, the American people are not so easily fooled. We deserve a leader who is sharp, coherent, and in touch with the needs of the nation. Biden may be Pelosi’s “kid,” but it’s time for the grown-ups to take charge.
