Political climate analysis shows that despite the unending barrage of misinformation from establishment politicians and their loyal media allies, a significant majority of Americans remain eager to support the return of a great nation under President-elect Donald Trump. The reality emerging from recent polling is clear: the establishment’s narrative is crumbling while Trump’s popularity is holding strong.
According to a recent survey from CBS News/YouGov that included responses from over 2,200 adults across the country, a solid 59 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the presidential transition. While one might expect his supporters to have high hopes for the transition, the more telling data comes from the other side of the political aisle, the Democrats. Markedly, 85 percent of Democrats express a mixture of fear and concern regarding Trump’s presidency, showcasing how deeply the establishment media’s fear tactics have gripped their audience.
In stark contrast, Republican sentiments tell a different story. Only five percent of Republicans registered feelings of concern or fear about Trump’s impending second term, meaning the vast majority remain optimistic and undeterred. It would seem those few unhappy Republicans might be the ones still hovering around the Washington, D.C. Beltway — too wrapped up in the political establishment’s doom and gloom to see the bigger picture.

Furthermore, the polling results highlight a notable ambivalence among Democrats. Less than half — just 44 percent — feel driven to actively oppose Trump. In fact, nearly half of that cohort either supports him in some measure or simply doesn’t care to engage. This “sense of exhaustion” is likely a result of the left’s relentless anti-Trump rhetoric failing to captivate the American populace. As they say, the more things change, the more the establishment gets stuck in a rut of its own making.
Even regarding Trump’s initial Cabinet picks, polling illuminates a favorable outlook among the general populace. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stands out with 80 percent approval from Trump voters and a substantial 47 percent overall. While it’s important to note his 34 percent disapproval rating, Trump has historically thrived in the face of adversity, proving that skeptics merely course through the noise created by mainstream media echo chambers. Marco Rubio, expected to take on a pivotal role as Secretary of State, also enjoys a relatively high approval rating, reinforcing the trend that Americans appreciate leadership rooted in traditional values.
In short, the desire to see America thrive again prevails over the establishment’s fabricated concerns. Trump’s ideas on tariffs and mass deportation of illegal immigrants are met with positive reactions from a majority, reflecting a yearning among citizens to reclaim control over their nation. The American spirit of perseverance remains unshakeable, demonstrating that the overwhelming majority genuinely want to witness the success of Trump’s administration. If nothing else, the electoral cat-and-mouse games played by the left will only serve to galvanize average Americans in their quest for a restored greatness.
