It seems that the saying “go woke, go broke” applies not just to private businesses, but also to schools. Glassbrook Elementary in San Francisco is learning this the hard way as they shell out a whopping $250,000 to an organization called “Woke Kindergarten” in an attempt to combat “white supremacy.”

The school claimed that their low test scores and poor student attendance were the result of “racism and oppression,” and decided that hiring Woke Kindergarten would be the solution. However, the results have been nothing short of abysmal.
Let’s face it, folks. In the alternate universe that left-wingers reside in, they believe that everything can be blamed on racism. Low test scores? Clearly, it must be the fault of systemic racism, not the lack of effort from teachers and students. Students playing hooky instead of attending school? Well, you guessed it, it’s also racism. Even heavy rain causing bus delays can somehow be twisted into a racist plot. It’s truly mind-boggling!
These folks sure love their excuses. Who needs personal responsibility when you can just point the finger at “oppression”? The reality is that the low test scores at Glassbrook Elementary are most likely a result of subpar teaching (surprisingly not improved by Woke Kindergarten) and parents who fail to instill a strong work ethic in their children. These are the issues that should have been addressed when trying to fix the problem.
Instead, the school wasted a quarter of a million dollars on a snake-oil company like Woke Kindergarten and made things worse. Instead of investing in traditional programs that actually improve literacy and math skills, they fell for the trendy idea that focusing on “legacies of racism and bias” would magically solve everything. Talk about misplaced priorities!
You see, the solution isn’t to perpetuate a victim mentality and make excuses for lack of effort. The solution is to hold parents and educators accountable and demand discipline and hard work from students. By constantly coddling kids and making them believe that they are helpless victims, we’re doing them a disservice. Empathy is important, but not at the expense of teaching personal responsibility.
But hey, here’s the silver lining. While the left complains endlessly about income inequality, they continue to widen the gap by intentionally sabotaging the education of an entire generation. These students won’t have the skills necessary to compete in the job market, all thanks to their woke indoctrination. Bravo, liberals. Bravo.
Oh, and here’s a fun fact: this Woke Kindergarten program was funded by federal funds, so you, the taxpayer, footed the bill. How does that make you feel? It’s just another reminder of how our hard-earned money is wasted on misguided attempts to solve problems with empty rhetoric instead of practical solutions.
So, San Francisco School, enjoy your woke experiment. We’ll be here, shaking our heads and waiting for common sense to make a comeback. And to the rest of us, let’s hope that news like this serves as a wake-up call to fight against the dangerous ideology of wokeness before it infects more schools and ruins more lives.

It’s time to prioritize practical solutions and hold individuals accountable for their own success or failure. We can’t afford to sacrifice educational standards on the altar of woke virtue signaling. It’s time to end the madness and focus on equipping students with the necessary skills to thrive in the real world.
