Well, well, well, what do we have here? It looks like one of the left-wing “Squad” members, Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO), is in hot water with the Department of Justice. That’s right, folks, the DOJ is investigating Rep. Bush for allegedly misusing government funds meant for private security. It’s like they say, you can take the Democrat out of the shady dealings, but you can’t take the shady dealings out of the Democrat!

Punchbowl News broke the story, reporting that the DOJ is digging into Rep. Bush’s conduct. Looks like there are six sources backing up this allegation. And to make matters juicier, the Justice Department has gone and subpoenaed the House Sergeant at Arms for records related to the alleged misuse of federal security money. The plot thickens!
The House clerk even had to read a message from the office of the Sergeant at Arms, formally notifying the House chamber that they were served with a grand jury subpoena by the DOJ. You can’t make this stuff up, folks. It’s like a real-life political thriller, but with much less glamour and way more taxpayer money on the line.
And get this – it’s not the first time a House Democrat has been caught up in some financial shadiness. One of Bush’s colleagues was previously investigated by the Federal Elections Commission for misusing campaign funds for private security. Seems like the Democrats just can’t help themselves when it comes to playing fast and loose with other people’s money!
But wait, there’s more! It turns out that Rep. Bush kept paying her now-husband for private security even after they tied the knot. Hmm, talk about a sweet deal. Nothing says true love like using taxpayer dollars to keep your sweetheart on the payroll, am I right?
