Governor Chris Sununu of New Hampshire is making waves in the political world, and not in a good way. The ski resort CEO and rugby enthusiast has somehow managed to become the darling of the legacy media, despite his lack of influence and his apparent fondness for belittling the significant voices of the Republican Party.

Sununu, whose privileges in life have led him to believe he has more national influence than he actually does, has been vocal about his support for fellow Rockefeller Republican Nikki Haley. This support has not only raised eyebrows but has sparked a feud with Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, who has a significantly larger following on social media than Sununu.
It’s clear that Sununu’s fervent devotion to Haley has clouded his judgment. His willingness to cast aspersions at Paul on national television is not only ridiculous but also disrespectful to a prominent and influential figure in the Republican Party.
Upon digging deeper into Sununu’s unwavering support for Haley, it becomes evident that his allegiance lies with the old guard of the Republican Party — the business-as-usual GOP, as opposed to the grassroots movement ignited by former President Donald Trump. Sununu’s pro-business, politically correct stance is a stark contrast to Senator Paul’s unwavering dedication to conservative values, including pro-life principles and opposition to the United Nations.
Sununu’s track record in New Hampshire further illustrates his departure from conservative principles. He has signed several bills affirming transgenderism into law, going against the grain of many in his own party. His support for pro-choice policies, which have even failed to satisfy staunch abortion advocates, further distances him from the core principles of the Republican Party.
In contrast, Senator Paul has maintained a strong pro-life stance and has been a vocal advocate for conservative values. His unwavering dedication to the Constitution and the American people makes him a figure worth admiring, unlike Sununu, who seems to be more interested in self-serving pursuits and supporting the elitist establishment.
While Sununu may believe he has the influence to sway voters in favor of Haley, the reality paints a different picture. Sununu’s background as a ski resort CEO does not hold a candle to the impact that Senator Paul has made through his charitable organization, the Southern Kentucky Lions Eye Clinic. Paul’s meaningful contributions to his community showcase the stark contrast between a man of substance and a governor whose opinions simply do not carry the same weight.
In the end, it’s clear that Sununu’s support for Haley is nothing more than a futile attempt to remain relevant in the political arena. His lack of influence and departure from conservative values make his opinions largely inconsequential in the grand scheme of Republican politics.
