On a bright Sunday morning, chaos unfolded outside the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown as a group of Moms for Liberty activists took a stand against the disruptive tactics of LGBTQ activists. Five brave moms were arrested for peacefully blocking traffic while holding hands, highlighting their commitment to putting the needs of their children first. Meanwhile, a sixth individual, a transgender pride activist, decided it was appropriate to wave a Pride flag in a disruptive and confrontational manner. Can you believe it?
Philadelphia police were left with no choice but to step in and restore order. The officers, tasked with maintaining peace and upholding the law, swiftly took action to apprehend these troublemakers. Yet, instead of lauding the commendable work of the police, the activists and their supporters are decrying their actions. What a shame!
It is important to note that this incident occurred during the final day of the Moms for Liberty summit, a crucial platform to discuss parental rights, traditional family values, and the dangers of promoting divisive ideologies to our impressionable youth. The event attracted 650 attendees, including influential leaders such as former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. It is evident that these individuals understand the importance of protecting our children from harmful influences.
Notably, this event has been met with protests from the inception of its arrival in Philadelphia. Groups like ACT UP Philadelphia, an AIDS activism organization, have taken it upon themselves to disrupt and interfere with the proceedings. Their chants of “Hate has no place in Philadelphia!” reflect a clear misunderstanding of the message being conveyed by the conference attendees.
