The situation unfolded when the Trump campaign initiated a lawsuit accusing Bucks County officials of unlawfully turning away voters just hours before the deadline to request mail-in ballots. Reports surfaced of a police officer and some questionable individuals—later identified as local Democrat activists—wearing “Voter Protection” badges while shutting down lines long before the statute allowed. The law required that any voter in line by 5 p.m. on election day be allowed to submit their request, yet many were unjustly turned away as early as 2:30 p.m.
