The disdain for Trump supporters seems to be reaching new heights, thanks to some colorful language from billionaire Democratic donor Vinod Khosla. In a recent post on X, this affluent contributor to the Democratic Party decided to take a hit at those loyal to the former President, calling them “garbage.” This would seem to align perfectly with President Biden’s earlier emphatic remarks, where he claimed that the only waste to be found was among Trump’s supporters.
After Biden’s declaration, the White House attempted damage control. It’s almost charming how they insist their boss didn’t call Trump supporters “garbage.” A clever edit was made to the president’s quote to bolster this narrative, adding an apostrophe and a dash as if that would magically change what was said. It’s a perfect example of political “word wizardry,” or what’s commonly known as “spin.”

Biden later attempted to clarify his earlier comments, asserting that he was merely referring to the hateful rhetoric from Trump supporters at a recent rally. In essence, he claimed that the venomous insults directed at Puerto Rico were unworthy of serious dialogue, which was promptly explained away as being the only reasonable term he could find. He believes that labeling half of the country as “garbage” is acceptable as long as it’s dressed up as a condemnation of extremism.
Adding to the circus, Khosla echoed Biden’s initial sentiment, suggesting that calling Trump supporters garbage was just scratching the surface of a deeper issue. His gratuitous contempt for “MAGA extremists” fits the broad narrative that liberals have been peddling as they seek to vilify the millions who supported Trump because they dared defy the political establishment. One must wonder if Khosla will prompt a backlash against his financial contributions to Kamala Harris’s campaign, given the blatant disregard for a significant faction of American voters.
In an amusing twist, Senator JD Vance noted the hypocrisy of Khosla’s situation. He queried whether the Harris campaign would return the donations from someone who actively insults many Americans simply because they have a different opinion. The insinuation that they will continue accepting money while disparaging that same demographic presents a hilariously predictable pattern in today’s political landscape. The results of these tirades against Trump supporters can only mean one thing: the left is losing touch with everyday Americans in their relentless pursuit of ideological purity.
