Ambassador Nikki Haley in her home state of South Carolina, and he’s even dominating among military families, despite a recent dust-up where he playfully ribbed Haley about her MIA husband. The new Suffolk University/USA Today poll, which was just released, shows Trump trouncing Haley by a jaw-dropping 63% to 35% among likely Republican primary voters this coming Saturday. Even after Trump teased Haley about her husband’s absence from the campaign trail, he remains king of the jungle in South Carolina. At a rally in the Palmetto State, Trump wasn’t afraid to poke a little fun, asking, “What happened to her husband? Where is he? He’s gone.” It’s like a spicy roast at a family dinner, folks!
But wait, there’s more drama to unfold. Haley got a little teary-eyed during a speech where she spoke about her husband’s yearlong deployment. She choked up while describing her husband’s service in the South Carolina Army National Guard at an event in Greenville, just days before the state’s crucial primary.
