Personally, the writer agrees with Trump’s animosity towards these individuals. Attorney General Letitia James, who is seeking an outrageous $250 million in damages and the dissolution of Trump’s business assets, took a snide shot at the former president after he stormed out of the trial. She declared, “The Donald Trump Show is over.” Such comments show the lack of professionalism and bias from the attorney general. It is clear that James views this trial as an opportunity for political posturing rather than upholding justice. As a conservative who values fair and impartial legal proceedings, the writer finds James’ actions disrespectful and politically motivated.
Trump’s frustration is understandable, given the magnitude of the intended damages and the severe consequences that may result from this trial. Rather than being on the campaign trail, where he would undoubtedly be better utilized, Trump feels compelled to be present to expose the corruption he perceives in the courtroom. It is disappointing that the media, which claims to be impartial, fails to objectively report on this blatant targeting of a former president’s business and legacy. In Trump’s absence, someone needs to point out the corruption since the media won’t do it. As a conservative, the writer commends Trump for his bravery and determination to defend himself against what he believes to be a politically motivated attack.
The trial will continue in the coming weeks, with Trump expected to return and testify. It remains to be seen how this trial will unfold, but it is clear that the former president will not go down without a fight. As conservatives, we must support Trump as he battles against biased actors who seek to destroy him and his business empire.
