During a CNN interview with Dana Bash, Adam Schiff, a far-left Democrat, was exposed for lying. After Bash confronted him about one of his most prominent lies, he gave up and said that he should have been more clear about what he had said.
"During the interview, Bash confronted Adam about his claim that the committee did not talk to a whistleblower before the first impeachment of Donald Trump. The Washington Post fact checked this claim and found that it was untrue."
After the Washington Post reported that a whistleblower asked the committee for advice before he became a whistleblower, Schiff said that he should have been more clear about this. He initially thought that the newspaper was referring to whether or not the committee had brought the individual in.

In addition to being called out for lying, Schiff was also criticized for claiming that Donald Trump and Russia conspired during the 2016 presidential election. Despite the evidence proving that this didn't happen, he still persisted.

Following the expulsion of Ilhan Omar and Eric Swalwell from their committees, Schiff was interviewed by CNN.
