President Joe Biden is once again pushing his agenda of gun control, this time in the wake of the Nashville elementary school shooting. In a speech at a Small Business Administration Women’s Business Summit, Biden opened his address by discussing his favorite ice cream flavor, a clear indication that he has no idea what is going on and is completely out of touch with the reality of the situation.

Biden then went on to say that the majority of Americans think owning an assault weapon is a “crazy idea”. This statement has been met with criticism from conservatives who believe that Biden is using the tragedy to push his own political agenda.
The Hollywood elite have also jumped on board with Biden’s gun control push, with celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis and Mia Farrow tweeting their support for a ban on assault weapons.
It is clear that President Biden is using the tragedy in Nashville as an opportunity to push his own political agenda of gun control. While it is understandable that people are looking for solutions to prevent future tragedies, it is irresponsible for Biden to make such sweeping statements without any factual basis. It is also concerning that he is using the tragedy to push his own agenda without considering the consequences of such a ban on law-abiding citizens who use firearms for self-defense and hunting.
What is even more concerning is the fact that Biden has not addressed the root cause of the problem: mental health issues and the lack of resources available to those who need help. Instead, he has chosen to focus on banning guns, which will do nothing to address the underlying issues that lead to these tragedies.
It is time for President Biden to stop pushing his own political agenda and start focusing on real solutions that will help prevent future tragedies. He needs to address the root causes of these tragedies, rather than simply pushing for a ban on assault weapons which will do nothing to address the underlying issues.
