Senator Rubio criticized the White House for what he sees as a deliberate leak of the conversation, portraying it as an attempt to cater to anti-Semitic factions within the Democratic Party or to regain voter support for Biden in the upcoming election. Rubio suggested that the leak was intended to weaken Biden’s association with Israel ahead of an eventual Israeli response, allowing the White House to distance itself and placate those who advocate for peace with Iran and against Israeli actions.
