President Joe Biden took to the Rose Garden to discuss the latest jobs report, but instead of acknowledging the economic downturn, he put on his rose-colored aviators and painted a cheery picture. Despite the fact that the unemployment rate spiked to 3.8 percent in August, Biden insisted that everything was fine because he had managed to keep unemployment “below 14 percent.” Talk about bending the truth!

But that wasn’t all. Biden also claimed that the United States has the lowest inflation rate among major economies. Well, PolitiFact fact-checked that claim and found that Denmark, Greece, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, and Switzerland all have lower inflation rates. It’s clear that Biden is living in an alternate economic universe!

Meanwhile, Americans are feeling the pain of skyrocketing prices and stagnant wages. Real wages have been negative for over two years, making it harder for families to make ends meet. And let’s not forget that 61 percent of Americans are still living paycheck to paycheck. That’s right, Biden’s “Bidenomics” has left the average American struggling to pay their bills.
When asked about these economic woes, Biden simply turned his back and walked away. He couldn’t even be bothered to answer the question. It’s a clear display of his disregard for the struggles of everyday Americans. Instead of addressing the issues, he would rather pretend that everything is fine. Well, Mr. President, the American people deserve better than empty promises and a blind eye to their problems. It’s time for real solutions, not just empty rhetoric.
