As President Joe Biden struggles to contain the flood of illegal border crossings, citizens are rightfully outraged. The poll shows a significant jump in the percentage of people worried about immigration, with 28% of respondents pointing to it as their top priority. And who can blame them? The Biden administration’s incompetence has led to record-breaking numbers of illegal migrants pouring across our southern border.

Border Patrol apprehended over 176,000 migrants in just one month, setting a new January record. Fiscal year 2024 has already seen a staggering 753,000 illegal immigrant encounters at the border. And let’s not forget the disastrous numbers from fiscal year 2022 and 2023, where over 2.2 million and 2 million encounters occurred, respectively. It’s a complete mess, thanks to Biden’s open border policies.
The incompetence doesn’t stop there. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was rightfully impeached by the Republican-led House of Representatives for his mishandling of the crisis. The Biden administration is in disarray, and Americans are taking notice. With former President Donald Trump waiting in the wings, it’s clear who the people trust on immigration matters.
The tragic death of nursing student Laken Riley at the hands of an illegal immigrant criminal only adds fuel to the fire. Jose Antonio Ibarra, a dangerous criminal from Venezuela, was released into the country under Biden’s watch. This administration’s lax approach to immigration enforcement is putting American lives at risk, and it’s unacceptable.
As if the immigration crisis wasn’t bad enough, other pressing issues like poverty, race relations, and the federal budget deficit are also on Americans’ minds. The Biden administration’s failures are piling up, and the people are losing faith. It’s time for real leadership that puts America first, not open borders and chaos.
The poll results speak volumes – Americans want action, not empty promises. Biden’s approval ratings are plummeting, and it’s no wonder why. The lack of respect for our borders, the moral decline, the weak stance on crime – it’s all leading to a national disaster. Biden and his team need to wake up and start prioritizing the safety and security of American citizens. Our nation deserves better than this.
