In the final stretches of the Biden-Harris administration, the airwaves were filled with some eyebrow-raising moments from the president and his team, including an entertaining performance from White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. With wildfires raging in California, the radical left saw this as their annual cue to parade out the climate change narrative, conveniently ignoring that most Californians don’t even buy into the scare tactics. Biden, however, took to the stage, catapulting this same tired rhetoric into a speech supposedly centered on foreign policy.
Joe Biden, ever the picture of presidential poise, was clearly agitated as his speech reached its climax—after all, no one should expect a composed delivery on foreign affairs when there’s climate doom to peddle. With some slurring and apparent confusion, the president passionately boasted about his administration’s triumphs. Yet, under the scrutiny of reality, it’s clear that this administration has turned catastrophic foreign policy into an art form—not to mention the many disasters his decisions have exacerbated internationally.
During his grand finale of foreign policy discussions, President Biden ranted about climate change being the ultimate existential threat to humanity. He then took a moment to throw shade at the incoming Trump administration. In a strange fever dream of a rant, he implied that anyone doubting climate change was not just wrong, but out of touch with reality. While his rhetoric veered dangerously close to apocalyptic proportions, the president kept his finger-wagging game strong, making it quite apparent that he’s mastered the art of scaring people straight—and not in a fun way.
To hear Biden tell it, climate change not only poses a greater danger than nuclear threats but apparently afflicts those who simply dare to question his high priesthood of climate alarmism. A notable side note: While he drew upon this hyperbole, one couldn’t help but recall the equally jaw-dropping moment when Biden labeled dissenters as clueless or malicious, essentially questioning their intellect as if they were middle schoolers who’d just failed a history test. This kind of partisan vitriol is getting old, but the administration persists unabashedly.
Biden Uses Foreign Policy Speech to Remind Americans How Obsessed He Is With Climate Change

Amid this melodrama, National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby bobbed along to the same tune. When asked whether climate change posed a serious threat—after all, didn’t the recent Hamas attacks in Israel raise legitimate concerns?—Kirby stood firm in his assertion that Biden’s exclamations still hold water. Meanwhile, it seems the administration was so hell-bent on promoting climate change initiatives that they allowed China’s human rights abuses against the Uyghur population to fall by the wayside. But hey, why focus on those pesky human rights when there’s climate to consider?
Furthering the theme of administration mismanagement, Jean-Pierre somehow managed to intertwine Medicare price negotiations with their beloved (and misnamed) Inflation Reduction Act during her press conference. In a rare moment of honesty, Biden himself, post-presidential race, admitted the IRA could have used a more accurate title, implying it should’ve been labeled for what it truly is: a climate-centric scam. The irony is thicker than a foggy day in San Francisco, highlighting just how oblivious the current administration is to the concerns of everyday Americans. The curtain may be drawing on this administration, but the delusions are still rolling strong.
