In the aftermath of the attempt on Donald Trump’s life, Joe Biden’s response has left many Americans scratching their heads. The President stumbled and mumbled through multiple public addresses, culminating in an Oval Office speech that was as dishonest as it was tone-deaf.
Instead of addressing the severity of the assassination attempt, Biden attempted to deflect blame by bringing up unrelated incidents involving Gretchen Whitmer and January 6th. Trying to equate these events to the attack on Trump was not only a false comparison but also a weak attempt to evade the culpability of his own party’s dangerous rhetoric.
Biden’s call for everyone to “lower the temperature” rings hollow in light of his own past statements calling Trump a dictator and a threat to democracy. It’s the height of hypocrisy for him to try now to position himself as the voice of reason while conveniently ignoring his own role in stoking political tensions.

The Oval Office address was a display of arrogance from a President who should have been taking responsibility for the toxic political climate he has contributed to. Biden’s condescending tone and inability to speak coherently only further alienated him from the American people.
It’s clear that Biden is not fit to lead the country, and his performance in the aftermath of the assassination attempt only reinforces that belief. Americans deserve better than a President who can’t even deliver a simple speech without stumbling over his words and trying to shift blame onto others.
In the upcoming election, voters will have the opportunity to choose a leader who will prioritize the safety and unity of the nation over petty political games. It’s time to reject the failed leadership of Joe Biden and demand a return to sanity in our government.
