As President Joe Biden gears up for his State of the Union address, Democrats are feeling the pressure. At 81 years old, Biden’s mental fitness is under the microscope, especially as he lags behind former President Donald Trump in the polls. The liberals are sweating bullets as they hope Biden can deliver a stellar performance that will keep his presidency afloat.

But let’s be real here, folks. Biden’s notorious slip-ups and forgetful moments have left many Democrats shaking in their boots. Even House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer knows that Biden needs to be on his A-game to prove he’s still got what it takes to be Commander-in-Chief. The fact that they are getting anxious shows they don’t have much confidence in ol’ Joe.
And let’s not forget the cloud of suspicion hanging over Biden’s head after that whole classified documents fiasco. Special counsel Robert Hur may have decided not to press charges, but the fact that Biden couldn’t even remember basic details during the investigation doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. I mean, come on, how can we trust a president who can’t even remember when his own vice presidency began?
Despite some Democrats trying to put on a brave face, it’s clear that they are worried sick about Biden’s ability to address the nation without stumbling over his words. Even with Biden’s supposed skill in shutting down hecklers, it’s hard to ignore the growing sense of unease among his allies. If they’re all admitting to being nervous wrecks, then maybe it’s time they face the music and acknowledge that Biden might not be the sharp leader they hoped for.
So, as we await Biden’s big speech, let’s all hold our breath and see if he can pull off a performance that impresses his own party. If not, well, it might just be game over for Sleepy Joe.
