As the end of January draws near, President Joe Biden’s annual physical is still yet to be completed. The 80-year-old President, who celebrated his birthday in November 2022, is due for his yearly check-up. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has stated that the physical will be completed by the end of the month, however, she has not provided a timeline as to when the results will be made available to the public.
At last week’s daily briefing, a reporter asked for an update on the situation. Jean-Pierre responded that they are committed to completing the physical in a transparent manner and releasing the doctor’s memo to the press. She also noted that they have not yet provided any updates on the situation.

The White House has previously disclosed memos from Biden’s physician to the press, but they have never made U.S. Army Colonel Dr. Kevin O’Connor accessible to answer questions in the briefing room. When Biden contracted COVID-19 last summer, Jean-Pierre and the White House’s COVID-19 Response Coordinator, Dr. Ashish Jha, refused to make him accessible for urgent health-related issues.
The American people are eager to know the results of Biden’s physical and are hoping that the White House will provide an update soon.
