In a shocking turn of events, President Joe Biden angrily addressed the nation after the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s blistering report. Biden, clearly on the defensive, claimed that his memory is just fine despite the glaring evidence to the contrary. It’s quite amusing to watch Biden try to twist the report’s findings to fit his narrative.
Biden started his speech by praising the fact that no charges were brought against him. Of course, he conveniently left out the fact that the report clearly stated that he did, in fact, improperly possess classified documents. But hey, who needs facts when you’re a liberal politician trying to save face?

In a desperate attempt to deflect from the truth, Biden attacked the media for reporting on his willful retention of classified documents. He actually had the audacity to claim that they were “just plain wrong.” Sorry, Biden, but the evidence is right there in black and white. You can’t rewrite history, no matter how hard you try.
But perhaps the most outrageous moment of Biden’s speech was when he addressed the mention of his son’s death. Instead of addressing the legitimate concerns about his mental fitness, Biden lashed out and questioned how anyone could dare to raise such a topic. Well, Mr. President, it’s a valid concern when you can’t even remember when your own son passed away. Maybe it is their damn business after all.
As the press conference continued, Biden’s frustration only grew. When questioned about the classified documents found in his office and home, he quickly shifted the blame to his staff. Classic politician move right there. It’s always someone else’s fault, isn’t it? But the report clearly states that it was Biden who had possession of the documents. He can’t escape his own incompetence.
Despite the damning evidence against him, Biden declared that the matter is now closed. Well, sorry, Mr. President, but the American people deserve more than a dismissive wave of your hand. The House Oversight Committee has asked for a full transcript of Biden’s interview with Hur, and it’s about time. It’s time to hold Biden accountable for his actions, or lack thereof.
It’s clear that Biden’s mental state is a major concern. Even the report acknowledges that he presented himself as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory. That may be all well and good, but it doesn’t excuse his improper retention of classified documents. It’s time for Congress to step up and do what needs to be done. The 25th Amendment or impeachment should be on the table.
In the end, Biden’s attempt to spin the report’s findings fell flat. He can try to deceive the American people all he wants, but the truth will always prevail. It’s time for conservatives to stand firm and demand accountability from our leaders. The future of our country depends on it.
