This campaign season, as Biden and his party brace for an electoral battering, expect those so-called “places of worship” to morph into full-on political staging grounds. Instead of spreading the word of God, some churches are gearing up to pimp out their holy pulpit for a different kind of sermon – one chock-full of Democratic talking points.
It’s always a spectacle when religious leaders desert their spiritual duties in favor of playing the partisan game. Who needs divine inspiration when you can get a side of socialism with your Sunday service? The pews might be filled with faithful followers, but the real altar call will be for voters to march to the polls in support of the blue wave.

One has to wonder if these churches remember their original mission. While some parishioners come seeking redemption, they might leave with a newfound commitment to climate change policies or open-border philosophies. Sermons formerly dedicated to salvation are rapidly becoming soundbites for social activism.
Biden’s crew sees an opportunity here, realizing that wrapping up their policies in a pious package can be a winning strategy. If crossing the line of church and state means picking up a few more votes, then communion might as well come with a campaign leaflet. Who needs hymns when you can have homilies laced with healthcare reform pitches?
So as election day inches closer, get ready to see some churches doubling as Democratic dens. The holy names will be invoked, not for spiritual awakening, but for stirring political fervor. In the end, it seems holy sanctuaries will do more than offer sanctuary this season – they’ll play their part in the grand, gritty game of electoral politics.
