Cornyn ain’t shy to point out that the Senate is about as functional as a three-legged armadillo. He’s aiming to be the Lone Star hero who can lasso in some fixes. This cowboy is ready to ride in and save the day. As a staunch conservative, you can bet Cornyn will wrangle those wayward senators back in line and make the Senate great again!

In a not-so-surprising turn of events, good ol’ McConnell finally admitted it was time to hang up his hat as the Senate Republican leader. After years as the big cheese, McConnell decided to skedaddle and let someone else muddle through the mess he left behind. No surprise there, partner. With his handling of the aid to Ukraine situation leaving many Republicans hootin’ and hollerin’, it’s about time he hit the dusty trail.
Folks like Senators Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rick Scott, and Ron Johnson have been giving ol’ McConnell a piece of their minds. McConnell’s fumble with the Ukraine aid had these cowboys seeing red and questioning his leadership skills. Out here in the wild west of politics, you can’t afford to be a one-trick pony. McConnell learned that the hard way, and now it’s John Cornyn saddling up to try his hand at steering the Republican posse in the right direction.
With McConnell riding off into the sunset, it’s up to Republicans like Cornyn to lead the charge. As the political winds blow, it’s clear that change is a-coming, and a fresh face like Cornyn could be just what the doctor ordered.
