In an exciting announcement on Monday night, the Republican National Committee (RNC) revealed the seven qualifying candidates for the upcoming presidential primary debate. And let me tell you, folks, this lineup is absolutely top-notch. We’ve got some heavy hitters in this batch!
Leading the charge is the formidable Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has been making headlines left and right with his fearless approach to governing. And let’s not forget about former Vice President Mike Pence, who served this great nation with unwavering loyalty and grace. These two powerhouse candidates are sure to bring the heat to the debate stage.
But that’s not all, folks! We also have North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, former Ambassador and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, business leader Vivek Ramaswamy, and South Carolina’s very own Senator Tim Scott. This lineup is a conservative dream team, ready to take on the liberal agenda and protect our cherished values.
Now, it’s worth mentioning that former President Donald Trump is not on the list. But let’s be honest, folks, he doesn’t need to be. Trump has already proven himself as a fearless leader, and he’s chosen to spend his time meeting with hardworking autoworkers in Detroit who are participating in the United Auto Workers strike. Talk about putting America first!
The debate will be held at the iconic Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California, a fitting location for showcasing our conservative vision for the future. RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel hit the nail on the head when she said, “The Republican Party is united around one common goal – Beating Biden.” And what better place to rally behind the conservative ideals that President Reagan championed than his own library?
But hold on to your hats, folks, because the Biden reelection campaign is not sitting idly by. They’re sending California Governor Gavin Newsom to the debate to lead their feeble response efforts. The Biden camp seems obsessed with attacking “MAGA Republicans” and pushing their failing “Bidenomics.” But let me tell you, the American people are not buying what they’re selling. We want strong conservative leadership, not empty promises and socialist policies.
Now, let’s mark our calendars, folks, because this is just the beginning of the primary debates. There will be a third RNC debate on November 8, and the bar has been raised for candidates to qualify. They need to hit a minimum of 4 percent in two national surveys or an early state poll from two separate states conducted on or after September 1. It’s time for these candidates to step up or step out.
