The Democratic Party is facing a big ol’ conundrum as they scratch their heads and wonder who in tarnation they’re gonna put up for the 2024 presidential election. It seems like a bunch of ’em fancy the idea of kickin’ President Joe Biden to the curb and findin’ someone new, but golly gee, the pickings are slim!
A survey from Rasmussen Reports showed that a whopping 27% of Democrats ain’t too keen on any of the potential candidates slidin’ into Biden’s spot. And let’s not forget the former first lady, Michelle Obama, who’s got some folks swoonin’ at 20%, but that’s still a far cry from knocking Biden off his high horse.

It’s clear as day that these Democrats are stickin’ their noses up at ol’ Biden and his lack of oomph when it comes to being progressive. They’re hollerin’ from the hilltops, “Get someone new in the saddle!” But bless their hearts, they ain’t holdin’ out much hope that it’ll actually happen. Sixty-two percent of ’em reckon it’s about as likely as findin’ a unicorn in their backyard.
And when it comes to the options on the table, well shucks, it’s lookin’ mighty bleak. Apart from Michelle Obama, there’s Vice President Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, Gov. Gavin Newsom of California, and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan. But the majority of folks are twiddlin’ their thumbs and shruggin’ their shoulders at the whole lot.
When you reckon the results from all voters, not just them Democrats, it’s clear as mud that none of the options are sizzlin’ hot. Forty-six percent of folks are throwin’ up their hands and sayin’, “Nah, none of ’em will do.” And the rest of the bunch ain’t raisin’ much excitement either.
Well, well, well, it looks like the Democrats have themselves in a right pickle. Looks like they’ll have to keep siftin’ through the haystack to find themselves a shiny needle of a candidate for 2024. Good luck with that, y’all!
