DNC Funnels Millions to Anti-Trump Law Firms Raising Election Interference Concerns

Allegations of politically motivated attacks against former President Donald Trump have gained significant traction with the revelation of a money trail leading straight to the Democratic National Committee (DNC). The DNC has funneled a whopping $2 million to the law firm Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP since August of 2021, purportedly for “legal services.” This is the same firm founded by Roberta Kaplan, who famously represented E. Jean Carroll in her lawsuits against Trump.

Partner Joshua Matz of Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP not only assisted in Carroll’s case but also took leave to serve as counsel in both of Trump’s impeachment trials, earning high praise for his efforts from prominent Democrats. It’s no secret that Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP has filed several anti-Trump amicus briefs, further solidifying the notion of a clear bias against the former president.

The DNC’s financial support doesn’t stop there, as records show millions more being paid to Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, another left-leaning law firm. Mike Davis, a legal adviser to Trump, has vehemently voiced insinuations of election interference and lawfare against Trump. Davis blasted the DNC for allegedly using Democrat law firms to wage a legal war against Trump, presenting what he claims is irrefutable evidence to support these accusations.

The DNC’s purported funding of legal actions against Trump contradicts their earlier claim that they do not utilize grassroots donors’ money for legal bills. This revelation raises serious concerns about the integrity and impartiality of the legal battles faced by Trump, fueling suspicions of a coordinated effort to undermine the former president through the judiciary.
