Oh boy, here we go again with the Department of Justice and their shenanigans. According to reports, the DOJ is thinking about pushing back Hunter Biden’s plea hearing. And why, you might ask? Well, it seems like the DOJ is feeling a bit of heat over the special treatment they’re giving to President Biden’s beloved son.

You see, under this so-called “plea agreement,” Hunter would basically get off scot-free by just admitting guilt to some little tax and weapons misdemeanors. That’s right, no prison time for this guy. Now, I’m no legal expert, but even a fourth grader can see that this is one sweet deal. I mean, come on, isn’t the justice system supposed to treat everyone equally? But apparently, that’s not the case when your dad is the big cheese in the White House.
But wait, there’s more! It turns out that some brave whistleblowers from the IRS have come forward with some pretty shocking claims. They’re saying that Attorney General Merrick Garland straight-up lied to Congress about this whole mess. And not only that, they believe that Hunter should’ve been hit with more serious charges. But what happened instead? The agents were apparently told to “stand down” by someone higher up the food chain. Hmm, I wonder who that could be?
Now, Judge Maryellen Noreika is supposed to make a decision on whether to accept Hunter’s plea deal on July 26. But hold your horses, folks, because there’s a chance that the hearing could be postponed. The good folks over at the Heritage Foundation are actually suing the DOJ over their failure to release some key documents related to this case. They had to file a Freedom of Information Act request just to get the ball rolling. And get this, during a recent phone call between a Heritage Foundation lawyer and a DOJ lawyer, the lawyer from the DOJ admitted that they could ask for a delay in the plea hearing to give them more time to sort out those pesky records. Talk about buying time.
Now, the Heritage Foundation is not saying that a postponement is a done deal. But come on, folks, we all know that once the wheels start turning, anything can happen. And I don’t know about you, but I think the public deserves to know what’s really going on here. This whole thing smells fishier than a bucket of old bait. I mean, is this plea deal a sweetheart deal? You bet your bottom dollar it is! And the American people deserve to have all the facts before any decisions are made. It’s only fair, right?
In the end, it’s clear that there are some serious questions surrounding this whole Hunter Biden saga. The Department of Justice needs to step up and show that they’re not just playing favorites with the president’s son. The American people deserve a justice system that treats everyone equally, regardless of who their daddy is. And until that happens, we’ll just have to sit back and watch the show.
