Gen Z’s Bin Laden Shock: 20% View 9/11 Mastermind Favorably

A recent survey has revealed some shocking and downright alarming statistics about the views of young Americans on Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The results, conducted by J.L. Partners for the Daily Mail, show that a concerning 20 percent of 18-28 year-olds actually have a favorable opinion of the man responsible for the deaths of nearly 3,000 people on that fateful day in 2001. Furthermore, a whopping three in 10 Gen Z voters have the audacity to claim that bin Laden’s views were “a force for good.”

Now, as if that wasn’t jaw-dropping enough, it seems that 18 to 29-year-olds were asked about their thoughts on this Saudi Arabian warlord, and shockingly, eight percent of them said they had a ‘completely positive’ view! If that’s not enough to make your head spin, almost one in five black voters shared these disturbingly positive views as well.

It’s utterly mind-boggling to comprehend how anyone, especially younger generations, could have anything but disdain for a man who orchestrated such a heinous act of terror on American soil. But alas, it seems that a staggering 81 percent of American voters still have negative views of him. Although that number is encouraging, the fact that nearly one in ten still view him positively cannot be ignored.

The family members of 9/11 victims appropriately called these findings “horrifying” and pointed fingers at the failing educational system for not adequately teaching U.S. students about the gravity of the attack and those responsible for it. It’s almost as if the education system is churning out a generation of morally bankrupt individuals who are either ignorant to or worse, indifferent to the atrocities committed by despicable individuals like bin Laden.

To add fuel to the fire, there have been recent instances of younger Americans questioning bin Laden’s evil, and even going so far as to sympathize with Hamas and deny the Holocaust. It’s as if they’ve completely lost touch with reality and have fallen victim to the dangerous and misleading propaganda that has been poisoning their minds.

It’s certainly no surprise that J.L. Partners founder James Johnson expressed his deep concern over these results, comparing this disturbing trend to a “cancer in the American body politic,” and suggesting that it’s indicative of a “reflection of real opinion amongst one in five 18-29 year-olds.” This should serve as a glaring wake-up call to America that there is a fundamental breakdown in the principles and values that have long been the bedrock of this great nation.
